Law Dogs
At the Law Office of Ronald L. Kuby, our bark is as big as our bite. Ron and the staff frequently bring their dogs to work. The law dogs are not only great mascots, they work pro-bone-o, helping out with the ruff cases.
LILY, an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, clearly takes after her father. She is well-known on the streets (especially by U.S. Mail and Federal Express personnel) and cannot help but be the center of attention. Dogs are not permitted in the courtroom, but Lily has followed in her father’s footsteps landing some recognition in his second favorite place – the press room. Her photograph has been featured in the New York Times and on Page Six, and she has been mentioned in other New York Post articles. She has also starred in commercials on WABC.
TURTLE, a seven-year-old Long-haired Chihuahua, is best known for his stylish apparel and his love for the ladies (especially Lily). Always a conversation starter, Turtle can captivate any audience with his puppy-dog-eyes or his embellished tail wag. Despite his name, Turtle is quick, energetic, independent, and rebellious. Turtle was named “Dog of the Week” by a New Jersey newspaper.
SAMMY, born in 2012, is the youngest member of the law dog team. Her big sister, Lily, showed her the ropes – then Sammy chewed them. Wildly energetic, she can't wait to dig into briefs, law books, case files, and shoes. Don’t underestimate this puppy. When she gets her teeth into a case, she rips it apart.
PLENA, an eight-year-old Poodle, is the office diva. She is quiet, but fierce. She can often be found perched atop an office desk, acting as the office watch dog. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her co-worker dogs, eating treats and traveling. Plena is loyal and protective.
